An excellent tool for viewing ethics as an employee and consumer Louis Coniglio am quite impressed with was Business Ethics for Dummies general, is timely and provides good food for thought on how to deal with the daily trials existing in the world works. I became interested in business ethics for many years during my university studies, and this book came at a time when I searched for my own ethical worldview and how it plays in my career. The book presents a wide range of case studies, including (without limitation) the oil spill BP, Goldman Sachs, Facebook, with its privacy issues, and discusses the recent public outrage over huge executive bonuses. The book presents an even handed approach, citing examples of a variety of ethical and unethical companies and how some companies have turned away most ethical methods. There are sections on using religious beliefs as the basis of how they think and work more ethically He cited various forms of marketing, and if it is not ethical, even stealth marketing. There is also the relationship between state and economy is in error. Overall this is a fine for a supplementary business students a bachelor's or master's degree or pursue a refresher course for someone like me who have read his course work completed. I will definitely continue this book as an essential tool and reference to, as I do that the next step in my career to do a director level position. Workplace pressures are good reasons for Refreshers by Pamela Jarmon-Wade I have a copy of this book at my desk in the office. I have seen people come to see him, and have a strange look on his face as well, even though my business degree two, I love to read, learn, renew and refresh. In the current economic climate, sales are down, unemployment, loss of profits, the desire to increase profits, etc. can cause pressure and should not allow this case to go against the rules or codes of ethics. We probably have all heard phrases like, "No matter what, always meet our financial targets," "I do not care what you do, just do it", "I do not know why we can not do it "" Loyalty to the company first, "" Do not give me bad news, "" Never has any KOB injury, you know? " (Page 232). So when you have a book such as "Business Ethics for Dummies" visible ... Remember the oath MBA consisting of the principles of honesty, integrity and respect. If you did not get the MBA, do not worry ... the author offers the oath on page 252. I share my book with all the stakeholders, but to encourage people to buy your The author did an excellent job of filling out tons of information in a way that is easy to reference. The use of icons to alert the reader of certain types of information (point is, remember, the warnings, technical stuff, ethics, and Spotlight), is wonderful. The funny cartoon clips to reinforce the points with a little 'humor. The reader will easily find what you need and be able to skip this unnecessary.
