Most helpful customer reviews 13 of 13 people found the following review helpful. Want to sell a wonderful book for infopreneurs that distance learning programs. (ISBN: 1599181207) by Jeff Lippincott [Below is the review I wrote and recorded for "Start Your Own Online Education Business Contact" © 2007. The book is the same book as "Start Your Own e-Learning Business" © 2004 (ISBN: 1932531238)] I loved this book .. I really liked it a lot! I am currently putting together a virtual company that offers a distance learning programs, some publications, and coaching services available. After reading this book was great because they are the ins and outs of preparing an online education business, which is what distance learning is discussed. There are a number of books available today on infopreneurship and be a infopreneur. Creating articles, brochures, books and reduce them to PDF files is the easiest way to get a infopreneur be. But putting together the curriculum and provide PDFs with the interaction back and forth via email and / or phone is a little more 'infopreneurship yet, but it is also distance learning or online education business. This book explains what online education is all about. It gives you a lot of resources and things to think about if you decide to take the plunge and start your own business online education. It has 14 chapters and two lists of resources in its Annex: 1 Learning for a Better Life 2 Entering the online learning market 3 Start-up strategies 4th Online Training at school 5th Tune knowledge workers sixth Lifelong learning in line 7 Course planning and offers 8th Solid foundation for virtual enterprises 9th Put your money 10th Content and delivery 11th It's all a matter of software-12. Finding Financing 13th Spreading the word 14th Failure and success of A1. Online education resources A2. Glossary I was disappointed with Chapter 8, which discusses choice of entity (COE) issues and business plan the subject of the Council of Europe was very poor, and even wrong sometimes. Limited liability companies do not dissolve just because the owner dies. He just did not know he was talking about. Consider getting a copy of "Structuring Your Business" (ISBN: 1593371772) to get good information about the Council of Europe. I posted a book review of the book on Amazon, too. I should have been a whole chapter devoted to business plans in this book. But there was not. Consider getting a copy of "business models at your fingertips" (ISBN: 1599180413). I posted a book review of the book on Amazon, too. If you are interested in creating and executing an online business like me, you definitely get a copy of "Four steps to build a profitable coaching practice" (ISBN: 0595296602). I posted a book review of the book on Amazon, too. S Three other book I recommend that you read to compliment Mr. Mintz's book is "Mastering Online Marketing" (ISBN: 1599181517), "Web Business Success" (ISBN: 0974924504) and "The Web Savvy Writer" (ISBN: 0977830403) This last book is not currently sold on Amazon. Google "websavvywriter" the author's website to find and you can instantly buy it. What I liked most about this book was the number and quality of the URLs that real learning to live away sites. They are found in body of the book and in the appendix (A1). The dictionary is a disappointment. Besides, I found the costs in starting and operating an online education company to be high. In fact, very high! If you do the research needed 25-35 for a good business writing schedule, you will realize how truly non-marking costs referred to in this book. It is possible for such a business to start for next to nothing except your time building your company and your product (s). 5 stars! See all 1 reviews ....
