I tried for years by reading newsletters McMillan Schaeffer and the high price (which I lost a lot of money) in order to understand the options. McMillan was too technical for me to understand and Schaeffer ... well it's all about the sale of your newsletters. Fontanille seems to have no agenda and seems genuinely interested in their ideas across to the public. The book introduces the basic concepts and in sufficient detail. The examples are in equities and futures, which I quickly used to it. I have no intention of trading in futures, but they were just examples to get the position. Fontanille he entrusted his company is really like a money manager and stock options. The book goes into more advanced strategies, including the delta neutral examples. It is covered with butterflies, condors, synthetic long and a total of 26 strategies that recently became aware of other people copying the work of Fontanills, but ... then imitate the master copy provided suppose.II also bought a book of options to accompany this book and that helped me test my knowledge. The disadvantage of books is that I kept wanting more and more of this kind, and when I left the book that started again. Oh, the appendix is a summary out.In useful and well-established, this book offers. It is easy to understand, written at my level, not above my head. But all is not theory, but offers a practical application that you started with Mr. Fontanills apply.Thank for taking the time to teach small investors the secrets of his trade.Michelle 70 of 73 people found this review helpful. A complete course in the TradingMarkets Options Fontanills George devotes four of the 18 chapters of Delta-neutral strategy. Excluding the detailed description of the brand strategy Fontanil ', most of the book aimed at beginners After giving a rather detailed description of how he got into the financial market, Fontanil describes some of the economic factors that drive stock prices. Then you go to the part of self-analysis. This section contains information on risk profiles and margin concepts. Regular readers of books will note that many investment publications include a chapter on this topic. Later he moved into a discussion of options as an investment vehicle. All bases are covered, long conversations and puts, short calls and puts, covered writes, positions naked, spreads, strangles and straddles. Each of these is explained and then track, the visually oriented students. Of course, a gem of the book delta neutral strategy that involves both long or short a straddle or strangle. The idea behind this strategy is to help traders to profit in both warp and non-trend-markets where the latter is a very difficult concept for many people, thanks to the great bull market of savvy options traders 1990sThe reviews of the book something more than a refresher course on how much of the material is introductory. In the four chapters of the delta-neutral strategy to address Fontanil gives a detailed description of the system. Having covered what he calls "nuts and bolts," he's talking about more advanced strategies, including butterfly spreads, condors dispersed, the ratio back spreads, and a couple variations of each of these combinations. Fontanil ends with hints of orders and matching open positions.T There are two very important factors when considering all the complex strategies in the book are complex investments with three or more legs is really that much safer and more profitable? Do these strategies actually work in the real world, or are they only good on paper? Many professional option traders will be the first to say just go for long calls and puts are
